Arlington, Virginia Home Renovation Case Study

Check out this Arlington, Virginia home renovation case study of a recent project we completed. We hope you find it helpful! Let us know what you think…

This home is located in Arlington, VA. It was built in 2005 and our clients were the original owners of the home. Additionally, it was listed prior to MaxHousePrice coming in. During that time they had an offer of $2,000,000, which they turned down because they knew that renovated, this home could definitely get more.

When some minor home renovations are made, we can help homeowners to NET MORE at the sale. Fortunately, the home really just needed help from MaxHousePrice to provide a “heavy cosmetic update” for the home.

Check out the pictures below and summary of the scope to see what we did to the home. Ultimately, these clients to sell their home (almost immediately, might I add) with their awesome agent, Francesca Keith, for well OVER the list price of $2,695,000. Not surprisingly, a final sales price of $2,800,000, which was over $100,000 over the list price!

One of the questions we get asked most often is, how do we decide what type of scope makes the most sense?

Well, great news, we have an entire team and lots of expertise that assist both agents and homeowners in this area.

Check out our “Renovation Knowledge Library,” with a wealth of information to guide you on your renovation project!

We always take into consideration the home’s current condition, the amount of maintenance the home has had over the years, the selling price point, and, of course, the goals of the client. We are here as a resource to help clients NET MORE AT SALE.

Sometimes it’s medium, or, sometimes, larger renovations that make the most sense to help a client NET MORE MONEY at sale. For this Arlington, Virginia case study, a renovation around $85,000 made the most sense. As always, we found areas to save and then recommended areas where it made more sense to re-do particular rooms/areas of the home.
